It is recommended for your puppy to be introduced to professional grooming around 12 weeks old.  The first few grooming appointments make take a little more time as your puppy adjusts to the sights and sounds at The Groomery. We want to make sure your puppy and all of our pups have the best grooming experience.

We ask that you keep these things in mind:

• Make sure your puppy is up to date on all vaccinations
• Your arrival time given by our staff is the best time to arrive.  We will gladly give you a call if we finish early.
• Take your pup for a walk before his/her appointment
• Praise your puppy for a great grooming experience

What’s Is the First Grooming Session?

Your puppy will be thoroughly brushed followed by a scissoring and clipping of his/her coat. You may request a teeth brushing or nail trimming. A warm bath with natural shampoo and conditioner is applied. Finally your pup will be dried & styled.  Ask about our special styling such as seasonal bling & bandanas.
