VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS- For the health and safety of all pets, proof of current Rabies/ DHPP/ Bordetella vaccination is required unless otherwise directed by your veterinarian. HEALTH & MEDICAL DISCLOSURE- I agree to inform the salon of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or behavioral concerns my pet may have. I understand that The Groomery is not responsible for pre-existing conditions revealed during grooming. Senior pets are groomed with extra care and attention. Services are provided with owners understanding of age related risk and sensitivities. EMERGENCY VETERINARY CARE- In the event of an emergency, I authorize the salon to seek veterinary care for my pet. I understand that I am responsible for all related veterinary expenses. BEHAVIOR & SAFETY/ PET SELF INJURY- I understand that pets behavior may be unpredictable during the grooming process, including sudden movements, scratching, biting, or attempting to jump. I acknowledge that the salon is not responsible for injuries a pet may cause to itself due to their own behavior or reactions during the grooming process. Safety restraints or muzzles may be used necessary, and services may be stopped at any time if a pet becomes unsafe to continue. FLEAS-All pets must be free of fleas and ticks prior to arrival. Please check your pet before coming in, as prevention helps protect all animals. If fleas or ticks are found on your pet during grooming your pet will be moved into an isolation room and the owner will be contacted for prompt pick up. Veterinary care is recommended. MATTED COAT- Please understand that a severely matted coat may require shaving. Shaving a matted coat can expose or contribute to skin irritation, redness, cuts or abrasions due to the condition of the coat and the skin underneath. EAR SHAVING RISK- Please understand that when shaving matted ears is required, it can increase a pets sensitivity and pets may react by shaking or scratching their head. Please acknowledge that can lead to ear hematomas. While every precaution is taken I agree that the salon is not responsible for issues that may occur following a shave. SATISFACTION & ADJUSTMENTS- Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not completely satisfied with your groom, please notify us within 24 to 48 hours of your appointment so me may review and make reasonable adjustments. PHOTO RELEASE- We love sharing pups! If you’re comfortable, we may use your pets photos or videos for social media or promotional purposes, No personal information is ever shared. ARRIVAL TIME- To ensure your pet is checked in safely please arrive at your scheduled appointment time. Early or late arrivals can disrupt the check in process and our grooming schedule. PICK UP TIMES- To ensure your pet gets the proper care at the salon please notify us if you can’t pick your pet up by your appointed scheduled time. Your pet may need additional care and a fee may be applied. SAFETY REQUIREMENT- For the safety of your pet please ensure all dogs are on a secure leash and wearing a properly fitted collar when entering the salon. CANCELATION POLICY- We kindly ask for a 24 hour notice if you need to cancel your appointment. This allows us to offer the time to another pet in need of grooming. CLIENT FEEDBACK- We value our clients and take great pride in the care we provide to every pet.
